I've compiled the following list of frequently asked questions and answers to make ordering your wedding invitations and wedding stationery from Made by Marilyn a little easier. If you still have any questions just ring or e-mail me and I will be happy to help.
 
Do you have a minimum order quantity or value?
No, all orders of wedding stationery are welcome regardless of quantity or value.
 
How much time should I allow?
You need to order your invitations at least 4 months before the wedding date and send them out 8-12 weeks prior to your wedding. If you are getting married during high seasons such as summer or Christmas it may be best to send invites out a little sooner before your guests start to book holidays etc. If preferred you could send a Save the Date Card or a Save the Date Magnet to let your guests know a long time in advance of your big day.
When you order I will send out proofs within 7-14 days, and once approved, wedding stationery takes approximately 4 weeks to make.
 
Do I need to order all of my wedding stationery at the same time?
No, you may still not know at the time of ordering your wedding invitations how many other items of wedding stationery you need. However it must be pointed out that colours of raw materials can vary slightly from batch to batch and should you wish to order extra at a later date then slight colour variation may occur. Also products may become discontinued over long time periods. It is therefore a good idea to let me know approximate numbers of other items of wedding stationery that you require so that I can order all the materials at the same time.
 
When do I order reception items?
At least 4 weeks before the wedding day, but preferably as soon as you have all the relevant information (confirmed guest list, menu details, order or service approved by your wedding official, table plan layouts, seating arrangements, etc.).
 
What if I haven't ordered enough wedding stationery?
When you place your order it is advisable to add on a few extra stationery items to allow for any mistakes or last minute additional guests. Ordering a couple of extra wedding stationery items at the last minute could result in disappointment should any lines be out of stock or discontinued.
 
I am having a large wedding, can I get a discount on my wedding stationery?
Yes, I offer a discount if you order is large. You must order at least 100 items to qualify for a discount and everything must be ordered at the same time. If you have a very large wedding, please contact me with the details and I may be able to offer further discounts.
 
Can I alter the type font?
Yes, a variety of fonts are available. When you request a sample wedding invitation, just let me know that you wish to choose a different font and I will send you a sample of the available fonts.
 
Some of my guests are Welsh, can I order a mixture of Welsh and English stationery, and if so, is there any extra cost?
Yes, you can order a mixture of Welsh and English stationery and there is no extra charge.
