All orders that are placed are subject to acceptance in accordance to the terms and conditions set out below:
Copyright
All designs and content that appears on www.madebymarilyn.co.uk are covered by copyright and must not be reproduced in anyway without my consent. Proofs
For personalised orders I will produce proofs of all inserts required. These will be posted to the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to check the proofs carefully. The proof required must be signed and dated by the customer and returned to me. I will not begin printing until I have received the signed and dated proof. I accept no responsibility for incorrect personalised stationery if signed proofs were not properly checked and incorrect personalised details were supplied to me.
Any amendments that the customer requires after printing has commenced will incur an additional charge. If any amendments have been made a further set of proofs will be sent to the customer which must be checked, signed and dated as correct before I can commence with the order.
The most recent dated version of amendments shall be used in the production of the wedding stationery.
I cannot accept any amendments unless they are signed for and dated.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the correct copyright permission for any hymns, readings, poems etc used in the Order of Service have been obtained.
Payment
A cheque or postal order (made payable to Marilyn Beesley), for 50% of the total order value should be enclosed with the customer's order form (this 50% deposit is non-refundable). I will not proceed with any order until payment has cleared. The balance of payment shall become due upon return of the approved signed proofs.
The order will not be dispatched until full payment has been received.
Delay in payment at any stage will result in a delay in your order.
Order Times
Order times of wedding stationery may vary according to my work load. A minimum of 4-6 weeks is required from receipt of final proofs and balance of payment to complete the order.
It is the customer's responsibility to check their order form and ensure all details, names and spellings are correct.
In order to keep the production of your wedding stationery on schedule the customer must return any signed proofs, payments, etc promptly. Failure to do this may result in delays in the order.
I cannot be held responsible for any delays in orders due to materials becoming out of stock from my suppliers. I will contact you as soon as any problem arises and offer you an alternative product or a refund.
Delivery
Wedding stationery orders will be delivered by First Class Recorded Delivery, Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service or Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day Service, and require a signature on receipt.
I cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage which occurs during transit via delivery service.
I cannot be held liable for any loss incurred due to late delivery for reasons outside my control (e.g. postal strike, delay due to postal services). Items delivered by first class recorded delivery may take up to 15 days to arrive at destination.
If you require urgent delivery of a parcel then please contact me requesting an upgrade delivery to guaranteed next day delivery service. This service is more expensive but is guaranteed and trackable.
I cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by any other third party. If for any reason your order is delayed then I will contact you immediately.
Variations within the Order
All my wedding stationery is individually handmade and therefore there might be slight variations between each card. This is not deemed as faulty.
If the customer orders wedding stationery in stages then I cannot guarantee continuity of design or that there will be no variation in price due to increases in material prices.
All of my orders are subject to stock availability. If I experience any difficulties with material supplies then I will inform you immediately and offer you an alternative of the same or better quality at the same price as the initial order providing a 50% deposit has been paid to secure the complete order.
Pricing
I reserve the right to alter without notice any prices in the case of error or the material suppliers increasing their prices. Any price increase will not affect any confirmed orders.
Cancellations/Refunds
Any cancellation of an order must be made in writing. In such a case the 50% deposit is non-refundable. If the order is cancelled part way through production then all the work that exceeds the deposit must be paid for. If the order is cancelled prior to my receipt of the signed proofs then there will be no additional costs other than the 50% deposit already paid.
As all wedding stationery is personalised and handmade to order, refunds or exchanges will only be given if the goods are faulty and I am notified within seven days of receipt of your order. No claims will be entertained after this period. Refunds will only be made once I am in receipt of the faulty goods. Postage on returned goods is non-refundable.
Non personalised items: if goods are faulty or damaged a replacement will be issued provided I am notified within seven days of receipt. Replacement goods will only be issued once I am in receipt of the faulty goods. Postage on returned goods is non-refundable.
Any items ordered in to suit particular colour schemes cannot be refunded.
